I thought I was the only one standing in my kitchen, holding a glass of wine and pretending I was okay.
I was a nurse caring for dying children, I was a mum to two young boys., I was a wife, a friend and the person everyone could rely on.
From the outside, everything looked fine and on the inside, I was slowly falling apart.
In this deeply personal episode of Out Of Her Mind, I share my story of burnout in 2022, the panic attacks that changed my life, and how I went from surviving to rebuilding a relationship with myself.
We talk about:
✨ Using alcohol to cope with stress and overwhelm
✨ The guilt and shame that so many women carry in silence
✨ What survival mode actually looks like
✨ How our nervous system keeps us going until it simply can't anymore
✨ The moment I realised something had to change
✨ Why healing isn't linear
✨ How learning to regulate my nervous system helped me rebuild my life
If you've ever felt overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself or like you're barely holding everything together, this episode is for you.
Because you are not weak.
You are not failing.
And you are definitely not alone.
With love,
Kobi xox
