Join us as we interview real estate investors from across the U.S. and Canada, diving into their insights, experiences, and success stories—all while having a great time on our podcast!
In this episode of the Spicy Podcast Show, we’re joined by Isaiah Henry, a dynamic professional whose expertise spans real estate investing, emergency response operations, and entrepreneurial innovation.
A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with degrees in Business and Psychology, Isaiah combines analytical rigor with hands-on problem-solving to excel in every venture he undertakes. Isaiah’s professional journey began in high-stakes public service, serving first as a Special Constable with Metrolinx and later as a valedictorian Police Constable with the Toronto Police Service. Currently an Ambulance Communication Officer with the Ontario Ministry of Health, he’s developed exceptional crisis management skills and meticulous attention to detail – qualities that directly translate to his real estate success.
Since purchasing his first property in 2017, Isaiah has built an impressive portfolio using diverse strategies including BRRRR (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat), buy-and-hold, fix-and-flip, and wholesaling.
He’s become particularly adept at long-distance investing, successfully managing projects across Northern Ontario while mastering the challenges of remote property management, material sourcing, and contractor coordination. Beyond building his own portfolio, Isaiah serves as a consultant and property manager, helping other investors navigate complex deals and maximize returns. His creative solutions – like converting commercial spaces into profitable storage units or structuring innovative vendor-take-back mortgages – demonstrate his ability to think outside traditional financing boxes.
Isaiah’s accomplishments are powered by strategic partnerships and innovative financing.
He’s raised nearly $3 million in private capital for flip projects, participated in equity partnerships for long-term holds, and secured private funding for BRRRR deals – creating win-win opportunities for both himself and his investors. As founder of Utility Hub, Isaiah has also made his mark as an entrepreneur. This innovative platform simplifies utility management for Ontario landlords, centralizing payments and tenant reimbursements to improve cash flow and operational efficiency. Looking ahead, Isaiah is focused on scaling into larger commercial multifamily properties while continuing to collaborate with like-minded investors. His story exemplifies how discipline, innovation, and resilience can build generational wealth across multiple industries.
Whether responding to emergencies, executing remote real estate deals, or developing tech solutions for landlords, Isaiah consistently demonstrates the strategic thinking and adaptability that set him apart as a true multi-industry leader.
