Dr. Chad Hess is the senior pastor of Woodmont Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama. With a deep passion for spiritual leadership, he equips pastors, churches, and Christian leaders to cultivate spiritually healthy lives and Christ-centered ministries. Dr. Hess is especially committed to helping pastors embrace their calling to make disciples of Jesus. Prior to his current role, he served as Woodmont’s college and youth pastor and as campus pastor at Shoals Christian School. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama and both a master’s degree and doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Hess and his wife, Janna, are the proud parents of two children.
