In this episode, I open up about why I made the decision to step away from keto and carnivore — and how that choice completely transformed my health, my mindset, and my relationship with food.
For years, I believed that strict food rules were the only way to maintain freedom from food addiction. But what I eventually realized was that my body was suffering. My energy was crashing, my hormones were off, and deep down, I knew I wasn’t thriving — I was just surviving.
Facing my fears around Whole Food carbs was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. As someone who’s struggled with food addiction and disordered eating for most of my life, reintroducing carbs felt terrifying. But the truth is — it wasn’t Whole Foods that were the problem… it was processed foods.
Freedom from food addiction isn’t about cutting out entire food groups forever. It’s about learning to trust yourself again, to nourish your body with real, Whole Foods, and to finally live in alignment with what your body truly needs to thrive.
