In this pilot episode of Choir Walks we are in Hampshire with guide Wendy Helsby, walking along the River Test from Whitchurch to the church of St Nicholas in Freefolk.
We discover what makes the Test such an important and valuable river, the area’s French connection and its long history of producing paper for the Bank of England, before singing not one, but three versions of Goudimel’s Psalm 23 in St Nicholas Church.
