In this episode, we sit down with Paul White — Airworthiness Management Specialist and Consultant. With Paul, we explore the world of Continuing Airworthiness, focusing on how it is managed within the EASA framework under what is commonly known as “CAMO”.
We discuss the CAMO concept, its duties and responsibilities, and the regulatory framework, including Part-M and its evolution through Part-CAMO and Part-CAO.
We also touch on key topics such as competencies, training, and safety. In addition, we look at the differences and similarities between EASA and other regulatory environments where the CAMO structure is not applied.
Through regulation, practical examples, and “story time” insights, Paul shares valuable perspectives not only on CAMO itself, but more broadly on what it truly means to manage an aircraft—regardless of the regulatory framework.
This episode is packed with aircraft management insights you won’t want to miss. If you’re involved in aircraft management, CAMO activities, aircraft transitions, or maintenance, this conversation is for you. Enjoy!
