If you’re an 80’s or 90’s baby who now has a baby of your own – but you still feel like you’re figuring things out yourself – Millennial Dads is for you! Hosted by Andy Goh and Brian Solomon, Millennial Dads is for any parent, but will ring most true for fathers of our unique generation.
Ever-shifting gender and family roles have brought upon the rise of the “Single Dad,” or a father who is raising their child on their own. While generations before us have become accustomed to the mother often finding herself flying solo, more and more, dads are taking on the responsibility themselves.
While neither Brian or Andy are single dads themselves, it’s a trend they haven’t let go unnoticed. On today’s episode of Millennial Dads, we dive into the rise in single fatherhood, some of the reasons for that rise, and also our own experiences having to be the primary caregiver in the family, if only temporarily.
