The podcast about health, wellness, fun, recovery and music hosted by Dr. Deen Anbar! Learn how musicians and creatives navigate the challenges of a hectic lifestyle, and achieve their goals while attempting to stay sane.
This weeks guest is singer and artist Maurice Smith! From his original Delta Soul project to session and live work with Beyonce and so much more, Maurice is a Grammy nominated artist and one of the most fun performers I’ve had a chance to work with. We sat down and talked about his influences, the Chicago/Mississippi connection, growing up in a family of nine kids, and the beautiful imperfection of live performance and being in the moment. I ask Maurice his dream soul band and we also jam on an R&B classic!
