It’s BB’s goal is to have some laughs with the Broadway community and aims to avoid questions about how you got started and why you wanted to be an actor. We’re more interested in your Taco Bell order and if you find child actors as creepy as we do. The show draws inspiration from
Between Two Ferns and Chicken Shop Date with a little Watch What Happens Live mixed in so you know there’s gonna be juicy gossip…but at it’s heart, it’s a love letter to theatre.

This week we have comedian Avery Pearson on the pod!!!! Avery started in downtown theatre, then discovered he could write funny songs as a career so decided to switch gears. He has written songs for the Espy’s, SNL, and is currently writing a musical called Space Cowgirl. And you can watch his brand new comedy special called GIVE IT UP AVERY PEASON right now on Veeps!
We dish about picking a writing partner, the process of writing it (pomodoro anyone?) and Avery tells us about how Paul McCartney and him ended up taking pictures in the bathroom together.
We play a musical game at the end where I challenge Avery to come up with titles and songs for three new musicals and spolier alert…one involves Creed!
