The Yotta Podcast
Podcast Description
This is the Yotta Podcast hosted by Founder, George Rockett, interviewing experts from across the digital infrastructure landscape on what the future holds for this dynamic industry at a time of explosive growth.
Yotta is a ”bold” new event platform that’s been created as a catalyst for a crucial new conversation that spans the full digital infrastructure ecosystem. The Yotta mission is to support a more integrated and holistic approach to the issues of scale and sustainability that are being redefined in the age of accelerated compute. This will be a platform where the data center, compute, network, telecoms, storage, cloud and other digital infrastructure ”tribes” can come together to build trust and understanding. The inaugural event will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, October 7-9, 2024.

The Yotta Podcast is where the future of digital infrastructure converges. Each episode drops you into conversations with the builders, thinkers and iconoclasts redefining AI compute, power, cooling and the architecture of tomorrow. From visionary ideas to behind-the-scenes breakthroughs, this is your front-row preview of the themes shaping Yotta—the world’s fastest-growing event at the intersection of AI, energy and digital infrastructure. If you want to understand the forces powering the next decade of growth, innovation and scale, start here.
Power is quickly becoming the defining constraint of the AI era. As data center demand accelerates and generative AI drives a hockey-stick curve in electricity consumption, the question isn’t just how we generate more power — it’s how we use it more intelligently.
In this session from Yotta 2025, DatacenterDynamics’ Alex Dickins sits down with David Chernis, Director of Flexible Compute Platforms at CPower, to explore how flexible demand, AI workloads, and grid participation could reshape the energy landscape for digital infrastructure. From spiky inference loads to demand response markets and the concept of being a “good grid citizen,” this conversation looks at how the data center industry can unlock new capacity while supporting the grid.
