Jessica Freitas is a biologist and educator who turned her own healing journey into a mission to help women feel at home in their bodies again. After years of studying and teaching biology, nutrition, and human physiology, she began noticing the same pattern, not just in herself, but in friends, students, and even while traveling to other countries. Women everywhere were struggling with the same frustrations around food, energy, and their health.
It wasn’t a lack of effort. It was the result of one-size-fits-all advice that ignored bio-individuality.
Jessica created Nutrition Ignition because she was tired of watching women fight their bodies instead of learning how to work with them. Her work focuses on helping women understand that different bodies process food, stress, and lifestyle differently, and when that’s ignored, it leads to burnout, cravings, inflammation, hormone imbalances, and mental fog.
Through a blend of science and lived experience, she helps women shift out of confusion and into clarity, energy, and alignment. Her approach is rooted in small, intentional changes that build momentum over time, because true restoration doesn’t come from force or perfection, but from awareness, consistency, and learning to work with your body instead of against it.
