Today’s episode focuses on “Meaningful Action for Palestine”. Meaningful action is a vital component of Development Education. We continue to be alarmed and devastated by Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza and the pogroms in the West Bank. The current reality of forced starvation and ethnic cleansing is being carried out with impunity. And our guest today is Lizzy Noone who is a passionate educator and campaigner who has been working in Global Citizenship Education for over 24 years. She facilitated a workshop on “Meaningful Action for Palestine” at the last IDEA Conference, exploring creative methodologies to encourage educators and citizens to take meaningful action in solidarity with Palestine. The workshop was very popular and we wanted to extend the discussion about activism for Palestine by having this podcast edition.
