George R. R. Martin's ”Game of Thrones” series is considered one of the greatest fantasy worlds of all time by many (this is the books, not the movies, chill out). But did you know that he also wrote a series of novellas about Dunk and Egg? The first of which was adapted into a graphic novel: ”The Hedge Knight”.
This soon to be HBO series follows Dunk the Lunk as he sets out to earn valour and repute as a knight of the seven kingdoms. Text dense, this direct adaptation is true to the source material, but how does that fit within the GRRMU (George R. R. Martin Universe)? Listen along to hear reflections on the Long Comics, the upcoming HBO series, the books, and the infamous TV show.
It's off to Westeros for these brothers!
