Her journey has not been without challenges. Dr Bukky moved to the United Kingdom in the heart of the COVID 19 pandemic, a time filled with uncertainty and fear. As one of the frontline healthcare workers, she experienced the virus herself. Despite the difficulties, she credits the strength and support of her close circle of friends and colleagues for helping her pull through. That experience only deepened her empathy and strengthened her resolve to make a meaningful impact in her field. Outside of her career, Dr Bukky is a devoted mother to two wonderful children and often speaks with admiration and love about her husband, who she considers her biggest supporter. She also holds her small but incredibly close group of friends dear, drawing joy and strength from those trusted relationships.
