“Making disciples” is sort of a buzzword in church circles, but what does it really mean? And at what age are you considered an “older woman” (Titus 2:3-5)? Spoiler: Even if you’re a teenager, you’re an “older woman” to someone! In today’s episode, I’m going to be sharing what I’ve learned about discipleship over the past 10 years, AND I’ll share an (almost) embarrassing story about my first reaction to hearing that discipleship was part of my job description overseas.
If you’re curious as to:
Who is eligible to disciple someone
What the term “life-on-life discipleship” means
Why Christians are called to make disciples
Why YOU can consider discipling someone
What discipleship meetings look like
Then you’re in the right place!
Scriptures from today’s episode:
Matthew 28:19-20
Titus 2:3-5
2 Timothy 2:2
Deuteronomy 6:6-8
Ephesians 2:10
Psalm 145:1-7
Discipleship resources (some were mentioned in the episode, and some were not! They are all valuable, and I have personally used everything listed below!):
