New Season Alert!! After spending time this summer delving into a few things that God can free us from (The Summer of Freed From), today we’re launching Season 3: What the Gospel Frees Us to Do. I couldn’t think of a better way to start this season than by honing in on where it all begins: our minds!
So in today’s episode, I get to sit down with my older sister, Elizabeth Carpenter, to talk about what it really means to love God with all of our minds, the importance of thinking critically as Christians, and some practical ways to engage our minds as we go about our days. Elizabeth shares candidly about her journey of NOT enjoying thinking deeply to making countercultural decisions in order to create a home culture that prioritizes it. And spoiler alert: something that has never happened before on the podcast happens at the end – WE BOTH CRY!
Truth be told, we talked about BOOKS for about 20 minutes in the middle of this episode, and in order to give that segment the attention it deserves AND keep this episode at a manageable length for y’all, we will be releasing that as a separate episode in the near future, so stay tuned!
