In this episode of No Need For Postcards, I speak to Amanda Eke. Amanda began solo travelling in her early twenties, despite not knowing anyone else who had done so at that time. Travelling solo at such an early age had a deep impact on her life and career goals. It gave her the opportunity to find herself and do personal exploration. In this chat, Amanda discusses how society is built around couples and she encourages people to break the stigma of being alone in public. She also talks about the benefits of solo travel such as developing adaptability and learning to enjoy your own company. We talked about how travelling solo can improve self-confidence and personal growth, and nurture the best relationship you can have – with yourself.
