With an impressive list of sporting achievements, Ngawai Hawera is Yeah the Mums Mama of the Moment. With beginnings as a Magic Training Partner in Netball, to an ANZ Debut for the Southern Steel… AND a Waikato Rugby player, Brumbies player, Japan Sevens contracted player as well as moving into NZ Touch and Crossfitting at an Elite level. What can this woman not achieve?!
However, all of these sports come at a cost and mentally there were MANY challenges along the way, whether this was being away from her support system or bouts of Postnatal Depression. Overcoming these experiences took courage and heart and have led her to be the woman she is today.
