Hoops lovers will love this week’s guest- get ready for basketball season with Tyler Neal!

Born and raised in OKC into a Sooner family, Tyler was an All-State basketball player at Putnam City West, as well as the state of Oklahoma’s ‘Gatorade Player of the Year’ during his senior year for the 2009-10 season. He then went on to play at the University of Oklahoma under Jeff Capel & Lon Kruger, participating in 2 NCAA Tournaments with the Sooners, and winning the Big 12 Conference’s ‘6th Man of the Year’ award during his 2013-14 senior season. Tyler cohosts “The Franchise Afternoon Show” on 107.7 The Franchise M-F 3-6pm, and also runs his new podcast “Tyler Neal is Checking In” talking all things OU Men’s & Women’s Basketball. On top of those things, Tyler can be heard during the basketball season contributing to Oklahoma Men’s & Women’s Basketball in a variety of ways, including game broadcasts on the radio for WBB and the Coaches Shows at Rudy’s.

His Fave sooner memories- as a fan – ‘02 Hoops Final Four run; as a player – first NCAA Tournament experience in 2013 after finishing 2nd in the Big 12 regular season standings as team.
