Welcome back to The Road Show with Tony Justice and Friends! My guest today went from being a pastry chef and a stay-at-home mom of four to one of the most recognized faces in the trucking industry. I’m joined by KayLeigh McCall, who started out driving a school bus in Evans County, Georgia, then worked her way up to a Class A CDL, spent time behind the wheel of a concrete mixer, and eventually landed at Schneider, where she was named their Featured Female Driver. These days she’s a CDL instructor at Ogeechee Technical College and a Driver Ambassador for the Women In Trucking Association.

KayLeigh and I talk about the leap from the kitchen to the cab, the lessons she carried from two years driving a school bus, and what it meant to be named Schneider’s Featured Female Driver in 2021. We also get into her work with the WITney Educational Trailer, training the next generation of drivers, and what empowerment looks like for a woman thinking about making a change.
