Glasgow knows him as Cari. London knows him as Iftikhar Ahmed.
For years, those two worlds have almost existed separately.
In Glasgow, he became known through Kebabish and Madras Cottage. In London, he built a completely different reputation in property, investment and major commercial deals.
In this episode we go right back to the beginning — growing up, working seven days a week, the influence of his father, where his work ethic came from and why even taking time off used to make him feel guilty.
We also talk about food, entrepreneurship, London property, deals worth hundreds of millions, Glasgow vs London, travelling and eating around the world, cycling, keeping fit, family, sacrifice and the lessons he would pass on to the next generation.
Two cities. Two identities. One story.
Iftikhar “Cari” Ahmed on The Judge Reviews Podcast.
