Simone McNitt, Executive Director, Encore Employment Enterprise joins us to talk about managing a career when you are an experienced worker and/or a new entrant into the workforce. We talk about the impact of having multiple generations in the workforce at the same time and how we can leverage that dynamic to create mentoring opportunities that support all.
More About Simone
Simone McNitt is the founder and Executive Director of Encore Employment Enterprise, a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that assists in placing experienced workers aged 50 and older in meaningful equitable paid jobs with age- friendly employers in the Greater Cleveland community. She serves as a program co-chair of the Council on Older Persons, an advisory committee of the Center for Community Solutions; and on the Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee for Art Therapy Studio Greater Cleveland; co-chair on the Livable Cuyahoga Social Engagement Subcommittee and previously served as Board Chair, CSHRM, for Talent Acquisition.
Simone is a Society of Human Resource Management certified professional and a certified Women Business Enterprise, Minority Business Enterprise and Small Business Enterprise owner, mentors experienced professionals, providing guidance and tools to assist individual in developing their marketable skills.
In each of these ventures, she has dedicated herself to fostering age-inclusive workplaces. In 2021, she was named as one of Crains Notable Entrepreneurs; for her ability to place senior in a tight market, as the owner of Talent Inclusion Partner,LLC.
