🌟✨ *A Reflection on Ooni Luwo: One Queen, Two Kings* 🌟✨
As the writer of ”Ooni Luwo: One Queen, Two Kings,” I am thrilled to share my thoughts on this remarkable journey we’ve embarked upon together. Crafting this play has been an incredible experience, allowing me to explore the intricate layers of power, love, and cultural identity through the lens of a strong queen and the two kings vying for her heart and throne.
The storytelling is rich with historical context, and the characters are vibrant and relatable, each representing different facets of ambition and loyalty. The rehearsal process has been a creative whirlwind, filled with moments of inspiration, collaboration, and passion. I am beyond proud of the talented cast and crew who have breathed life into this narrative, making it resonate deeply with our audiences.
I invite everyone to join us on June 5th at the University of Lagos, Creative Theatre Hall, to witness the magic of ”Ooni Luwo.” Let’s celebrate our culture and the power of storytelling together!
