Welcome Slander Tongue to Australia, all the way from Berlin via Istanbul and Kuala Lauper. After arriving this morning at 9am at Tullamarine, this German power-pop 4-piece stop off for a quick pit stop at Aldi before the boys roll into the Gem to make their way to be sitting with me at the bar with a stack of Melbourne Bitter. Fun times. We caht about the upcoming tour, all the dates, and like always there are major digressions like, Jens the rock n roll pope, Horses and Public Holidays, Aldi(of course), Radio Birdman and the Saints, smoking joints with Rob Younger in Germany, smoking meth at Metallica shows in Perth, Hector couldn't make because he has a new job, Australian Beers(all beers are good beers), Kits quiche, Drunk Mums never stop, Leipzig rocks, a new album, friends with Black Lips, Trader Horne vs Motorhead, Berlin techno, kangaroo meat vs horse meat and Berghain(of course)
