Every student is invited to share their stories. we talk about the before, during and after; the culture shocks; the learnings; the hard moments and the great ones; we talk discuss the culture (shocks), the studies, the parties, the travels and sometimes as simple as the daily life. Most of all, we share the feelings we had, both through our stories and presence in the episode.

Kaloyan went to Hong Kong for his minor abroad in the autumn semester. In this episode he shares about the cultural differences between the western and the eastern world, the cultural shock, the fast speed of life, quality of social interactions, exams and courses and of course unforgettable experiences hiking with wild boars. Hosted by Demira, a curious second-year student exploring her own options for the coming year, the show features conversations with peers who’ve studied or interned in different countries such as the USA, Brazil, Norway, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and more.
Each guest brings their own unique perspective, offering insights into the culture, academic environment, and work life in their chosen destinations. Although Across the Globe is aimed at third-semester students planning their next steps, these conversations are packed with fascinating cultural insights and personal stories, making them engaging for anyone with a love for travel, learning, and discovery.
