This episode features Tim Fearnside, a quietly luminous writer and deep, generous thinker who I’m happy to call a friend. In this short conversation (which is condensed from a longer live conversation I originally recorded for another podcast, and so not done through voice notes!), we open into who he is, what he’s been writing about, and how he sees this political and civilizational moment.
Tim writes and lives from a place of both belief and doubt, hope and despair. At the center of it all, he holds the value of our shared humanity as one of the deepest we can stay tethered to. I loved speaking with Tim about all these things, and I hope you enjoy listening!
