Welcome to The War Dolls Podcast! Every episode, we will be interviewing and chatting with a woman (or enby) in some form of geeky hobby; whether they are into Warhammer, Star Wars Legion, painting miniatures, video games, etc. Our goal is to connect with, spotlight, and promote women in hobbies that are mostly dominated by men.Meet your hosts: Cami and StephanieCami (she/her) was introduced to D&D in the 80s and to tabletop gaming in the early 90s. Somewhere in between she started painting minis. Having found her true passion, she's never stopped. Cami has owned her own game store, worked at a couple of others, attended countless conventions, and can currently be found running gaming demos (Heroscape) and tournaments (Star Wars Legion) along the Gulf Coast. She founded the War Dolls in 2011 and has been slowly building a global girl power empire ever since!Stephanie (she/her) has been a War Doll since 2024 and is one half of Born Miniatures, along side her husband, Brendan. Together, they have won several awards, including Best Theme for Star Wars Legion Doubles at Adepticon 3 years straight (2022-2024). Steph has won Best Painted awards at local events and continues to showcase her talents through paint, design, editing, and many other outlets.
