Eleftheria Batsou is a Developer Advocate, Community Manager, international conference host, public speaker, meetup organizer, and one of the people who helped shape the DevRel and community space as we know it today.
Starting her journey as a Frontend Developer, Eleftheria gradually transitioned into community-focused roles, combining her technical background with a passion for helping people grow, connect, and learn. Today she works with developer communities, helps individuals and companies build their presence online, speaks at conferences around the world, and continues to advocate for creating welcoming and meaningful spaces in tech.
In this episode, we talk about her journey from software development to community leadership, how DevRel and Community Management evolved over the years, and why technical skills alone are often not enough to build a successful career in technology.
We also dive into public speaking, personal branding, growing communities, creating opportunities through networking, and the importance of finding your own path in the tech industry.
If you've ever wondered what life beyond writing code might look like, or how to build a career centered around people while staying close to technology, this episode is for you. Tune in!
