A new season is here, and Random Fandom is back for another season of football, questionable predictions, random teams and the all-important question: will our support prove to be a blessing or a curse?

We kick things off with a look at the season ahead, as Rob & John give their thoughts on the Premier League. Rob is doing his best to resist the temptation to simply declare Arsenal favorites, while John takes a slightly more realistic view of Liverpool’s chances. We then work our way through the rest of the Premier League, looking at the teams who could be challenging at the top, those fighting for Europe, the potential surprises and who might be looking nervously over their shoulders at the wrong end of the table.

We also kick off this season’s Fantasy League before getting to the part that really matters — the first random teams of Season 4!

Our first three teams are Wigan Athletic, Bournemouth and Aldershot Town, giving us a brilliant mix from the Premier League, League 1 and the National League.

Wigan start at home against Leyton Orient, while Aldershot face a tricky trip to Kidderminster. And Bournemouth? They couldn't have been handed a much tougher opening assignment, heading to Manchester City.

As always, we'll follow all three teams throughout the week, keep a close eye on their results and see whether Random Fandom can work its usual magic… or whether our support turns out to be an absolute disaster.
