In today’s episode, hosts Brother John and Brother Robert Talk with their guest Ricardo Johnson to explore an often overlooked topic, menopause from a man’s perspective.
Together, they discuss the signs of menopause, how men can recognise them and ways to offer support to the women in their lives. The conversation also dives into how men can share their feelings and concerns respectfully, without causing offence so they can truly show up as partners, friends and allies.
Ricardo also introduces his upcoming book, The Change We Don’t Talk About: Menopause Across Cultures, shedding light on how menopause is understood and experienced around the world. Ricardo is a nurse from Jamaica and was inspired by his mum to write his book.
