Now Streaming: The Hallelujah Trail (1965)
Originally broadcast on October 8, 2026
In the era of Road Shows, films would come to a theater and sell you a ticket for your reserved seat and even give you a program. With intermissions and special showing times, this was moviedom’s attempt to compete with television on one end and live theater on the other. The Hallelujah Trail (1965) was one such attempt with sweeping vistas in spectacular widescreen cinematography. But this Western was a comedy…but was it funny? Find out tonight with our presentation of this film now streaming on a number of services and we check it out on the dreaded PlutoTV.
