Podcast Description

Adventure Capitalists is a competitive actual play for a cash prize. Two teams of four characters have one mission: make as much money in game as possible, the wealthiest team of adventurers at the end of four sessions wins a real-world cash prize!
To keep with the grungy murder-hobo vibe of our concept, we're using the MÖRK BORG as the foundation of our game. It's an environment that encourages the worst playstyles for the most unscrupulous characters, all taking place in a world the players built to be extremely unpleasant.
For our first season, we pit a team of improv comedians from Chicago against a team from Los Angeles, and the cast is incredible:
Team Chicago:

Claire Linic as Eggs: Mystery County - Instagram - Twitter

Joolz as Valentine: The Pod Has Been Cast - Instagram - Twitter

James Dugan as Ebenezer Hollythorn: Talking Shop - Instagram - Twitter

Brad Pike as Shank Pubis: Instagram - Twitter

Team LA:

Rashawn Scott: Mystery County - Dimension 20 - Bluesky - Instagram - Twitter

Tyler Samples: Mystery County - Instagram - Twitter

Avery Lee: https://www.averyllee.com/ - Instagram - Twitter

Alan Linic:  Mystery County - Instagram - Twitter

They are of course all suffering under the uncharacteristically cruel GMing of James D'Amato (Campaign: Skyjacks - Starwhal: Odyssey - The Ultimate RPG Podcast - Bluesky).
After drafting elements for worldbuilding and character creation each team has four 4-hour sessions to make as much money as possible in the game by any means necessary. The draft allows them to empower their own team or make their rival's task more difficult. Once the fourth session ends all the fantasy gold is counted up and the richest team wins $700. It's not a lot, but you'd be surprised what people will do for it.
This show airs Weekly on OSN through February!
