Send us your questions about diplomatic life!
We're back and this time we're taking a different angle on diplomatic spousehood careers. Convincing an employer in this economy that you deserve to keep your job whilst moving abroad requires determination and patience, but we often find it pays off in the long run when you are able to continue with your professional development. Katie talks about overcoming hurdles here in Islamabad to sit her Risk Management exams as well as settling into a new home. Is it possible to say from one moment to the next that you have officially 'settled?' Katie and I think we have pinpointed it.
