Hi I’m Krutika and today’s conversation is with Nina.
Born in Mayotte, a small French island situated in the Indian ocean, Nina’s love for dance began when she was just 5 years old. Fast forward to today and she’s turned her passion into a thriving dance business. She’s a qualified Zumba teacher and a choreographer and trust me when I say her classes are a real work out!
But behind the moves is a story of real resilience.
In 2012, after her daughter was born with special needs, Nina found herself in a very dark place – lost, overwhelmed, and blaming herself for something she had no control over. But then came a powerful turning point: a moment of connection with her daughter that led her to rethink her life and heal herself with dance.
Nina’s journey is a reminder in the power we all have to turn our pain into purpose, and like Nina we may all be able to find a way to dance out of the darkness!
