We kick things off with a “Business Bite” celebrating Kenneth Robinson (Class of 1977), our College of Business Alumnus of the Year, recognized for his exceptional career in finance and dedicated service on MSU advisory boards.
Then we sit down with TJ Green, a 2020 graduate whose journey from the MSU Entrepreneurship Center to founding TJ’s Animation Workshop is a masterclass in perseverance, pivoting, and purpose. TJ shares how the E-Center helped shape his entrepreneurial mindset, why he’s passionate about marketing and communication, and how he built a thriving animation company that educates, entertains, and explains through storytelling.
Now also the Director of Marketing for Chick-fil-A Starkville, TJ discusses the importance of social media strategy for businesses of all sizes, offering practical advice on platform selection, consistency, engagement, and speaking your audience’s “language.” He also reflects on winning the SBA’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and shares lessons on turning setbacks into success.
