Dr. al Hemairy serves as Head of the Tech Transfer Office at the University of Sharjah in the UAE; founder and Chairman of the Blockchain & AI Association for the UAE; and UAE co-founder of SignSplit, a blockchain-powered platform to register and verify all forms of data for the “signed data economy” – which in October 2026, announced a $400 million seed investment package from W Group (owner of WhiteBIT digital asset exchange) at a $1 billion valuation.
