This episode's guest is Stewart Swanson — a retired technology sales executive, global business builder, and a leader in growth and innovation.
With more than 36 years in global high-technology sales, Stewart built a distinguished career driving growth, forging industry-defining partnerships, and delivering transformative results for some of the world’s most recognized technology companies.
A proud graduate of the University of North Georgia in 1985, where he earned his degree in Computer Science and served in the Corps of Cadets, Stewart went on to earn his MBA from Mercer University and complete executive leadership programs at Duke, Emory, and the London Business School. This combination of disciplined leadership and global perspective equipped him to scale disruptive technologies and lead teams to success across international markets.
Now in early retirement, Stewart continues to share his expertise through advisory, board, and community leadership roles. He serves on the boards of the UNG Foundation, the Northeast Georgia Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and the Foxfire Fund. At his alma mater, he provides philanthropic support across multiple colleges, scholarship programs, and student initiatives, and chairs the STEM Advisory Board for the College of Science and Mathematics.
