Welcome, fellow car enthusiasts. My name is Rudy Samsel, and I co-founded Guys With Rides, the only dealer-free community and marketplace for car enthusiasts like you and me. I firmly believe there was a story under the hood of every classic car. That’s why I created the Guys With Their Rides Podcast. In this podcast, I feature fellow car enthusiasts with interesting rides and the fascinating stories each one tells. Long-time followers of GuysWithRides will recognize Jeff Lavery, who contributed many Rad Era (1980-1999) Craigslist ClasiiFIND posts. In addition to still contributing on BarnFinds.com, Jeff created his own website, https://thecommongear.com/, where users can document all their car’s records in one place. In this video podcast, Jeff and I debate whether a recent sale of a Mitsubishi Evo for $161,000 on Bring a Trailer was a money laundering scam or something else. We also hear Jeff’s thoughts on the state of the hobby from a young timer’s perspective and why we both agree Hagerty Insurance’s market valuations leave much to be desired. Thank you for watching this latest Guys With Their Rides podcast episode. Please like and subscribe. This podcast supplements our website, GuysWithRides, the only dealer-free community and marketplace for classic and collector enthusiasts.
