A podcast covering the state of the University of Detroit Mercy Titans Athletic Program, presented by The Shield NIL Collective.
It's a Super-Sized episode of 'Titan Up' to finish off Season 1 of Titan Up. This episode celebrates the one and only Dick Vitale, who coached the University of Detroit from 1973-77. His final team in '77 might be the best that Detroit, a program that's been around well over 100 years, has ever put on the floor. The '76-'77 team went to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament and finished the year ranked as the No. 12 team in the nation. Various players from that era joined the show, including 11-year NBA Veteran Terry Tyler, whose No. 44 hangs in the rafters at Calihan Hall.
Joining Terry are Wilbert McCormick, Kevin Kaseta, Laval Perry, and Jerry Guinane, who all played multiple seasons for Dickie V at Detroit.
