Revealing Australian war crimes
David McBride is a former British Army officer and a lawyer with the Australian Special Forces who blew the whistle on war crimes committed by Australian soldiers in Afghanistan. It would be great if these stories always had happy endings. Unfortunately, they don’t. On this week’s episode of Whistleblowers, John Kiriakou speaks with David McBride about how the Australian government insisted on prosecuting him, and about his choice to plead guilty.
