Welcome to the New Diversity Podcast, a podcast where we interview people in our state who represent all levels of diversity. We’re talking race, sex, gender, and ethnicity; but we’re not stopping there. At the end of the day, every single person has a unique culture that influences their unique voice. And, here at the New Diversity Podcast, we believe that each voice matters! So join us as we become better humans by listening to one another, learning to understand the other, humanizing each of our neighbors, and enjoying all of our cultures! On this Podcast, we’ll hear from all types of people who live in the state of Connecticut. In our little state, there are all kinds of cultures. We enjoy amazing food, a variety of entertainment, and all sorts of perspectives. In our neighborhoods, we encounter all types of people. We rub shoulders with people who look different, who think different, and who have different cultures than us. In an increasingly polarized society, our only hope is to start listening to each other and humanizing those who are different than us. This podcast exists to listen and learn from people who have different cultures in the hopes that it will increase our love for one another as fellow human beings. So join us on this journey as we seek to hear from all kinds of interesting people from all kinds of backgrounds on the New Diversity Podcast.
