In this powerful and deeply moving episode of Faith Flow, host Mary Momoh welcomes Bobbi Kumari, founder of Living in Light and author of Sacred Sexuality. Bobbi joins us to share her remarkable testimony of redemption, healing and transformation. Her story is raw, honest and filled with hope for anyone who feels trapped by their past or overwhelmed by the struggles of life.
This episode explores how God can step into the darkest seasons of our lives and bring restoration, purpose and freedom.
Bobbi’s journey is not an easy one. She speaks openly about growing up in a traumatic and unstable environment, the emotional wounds she carried from childhood, and how those experiences led her into destructive patterns including sexual immorality and drug addiction. For years she searched for love, identity and belonging in places that ultimately left her feeling more broken.
Yet her story does not end in pain. Through a powerful encounter with God, Bobbi experienced a life-changing transformation that set her on a new path — one of healing, faith and helping others find freedom.
Who Is Bobbi Kumari?
Bobbi Kumari is a Christian speaker, author and ministry leader who is passionate about helping people rediscover their identity in Christ and live lives rooted in truth, purity and purpose.
She is the founder of Living in Light, a ministry that focuses on guiding people towards spiritual healing and restoration, particularly in areas of identity, sexuality, trauma and faith. Through her work, Bobbi encourages believers to step out of shame and into the freedom that comes from understanding God's design for their lives.
Bobbi is also the author of Sacred Sexuality, a book that explores the biblical understanding of sexuality and intimacy while addressing many of the cultural misconceptions surrounding these topics. Her writing seeks to bring clarity, healing and hope to individuals who may be struggling with confusion, past mistakes or personal battles related to relationships and identity.
Through speaking engagements, ministry work and online platforms, Bobbi shares her testimony with honesty and vulnerability, reminding people that no matter how far someone feels they have fallen, God’s grace is always greater.
A Childhood Marked by Trauma
During this episode, Bobbi reflects on the early years of her life and the experiences that shaped her identity long before she encountered faith.
