In today’s episode, we talk about grief — the real “if you know, you know” feeling. Grief shows up in so many different areas of our lives and never looks the same twice. I share my experience with the death of a loved one, the loss of relationships, and the strange similarities between the two. One type of grief gives you no choice but to mourn, and the other gives you the option to stay, avoid, or pretend you’re fine… even when you’re not.
Grief is sensitive, personal, and different for everyone. I try to avoid shame and guilt in general, but especially here. This episode is more of a “you’re not alone if you feel alone” conversation — a space to sit with the feelings, hear someone else’s story, and maybe find something that helps you along your own journey.
If this episode reaches even one person who needs it, that’s enough for me.
