In North Carolina, one in five children is at risk of hunger. To fight the root causes of hunger, the team at the Inter-faith Food Shuttle runs a dizzying number of programs. In their whole- community approach, they use the Charlie Cart to teach specialized classes for the blind, for families, and for formerly incarcerated people to cook and launch a career in food and nutrition.
