In Episode 9, we revisit the mission and purpose of this podcast, discuss good bottles you can regularly find on the shelf, upcoming Den picks (including MUGEN), we review Old Fitzgerald 7 Yr. BIB and compare it to some of the older Old Fitzgerald Decanter Series releases and easier to find alternatives. We also review Jefferson’s Reserve Cask Strength, a limited release full of flavor… and it won’t break the bank! We also talk about some of the history behind Sextro Rye, an Iowa distillery with an extremely unique approach to making rye whiskey, before reviewing three of their offerings that were hand-selected by The Den.
