It’s advice we hear all the time. But after more than 30 years performing on stages, I’ve noticed something surprising: confidence isn’t what makes someone captivating.
In this episode, I explore the real quality that makes people magnetic — presence.
Presence is what others experience from you. It’s the difference between someone who simply delivers their words and someone who pulls you in so completely that you can’t look away.
Drawing from stories from the stage, wedding speeches I’ve witnessed, and a moment early in my career when I realized presence can actually be taught, we explore what truly makes someone command a room.
