In this special episode, Notts County Foundation marks South Asian Heritage Month (18th July – 17th August), celebrating the theme for 2025: “Roots to Routes” — a powerful exploration of identity, journeys, and shared heritage within British South Asian communities.
Host Josh Wing is joined by Vicky Spargo, the Foundation’s Deputy Sport and Inclusion Manager, to discuss the success of the South Asian women and girls football sessions held at Meadow Lane. They’re also joined by two inspiring participants from the programme, who share personal stories of culture, community, and the experiences that have shaped them and their families.
