Host Courtney Autumn welcomes Tennessee-based urban explorer Ty to Echoes of Elsewhere to talk about what draws them to abandoned places, especially time-capsule houses, and how research, history, and atmosphere shape their explorations. Ty shares how he started exploring in 2020 during COVID, his favorite types of locations, and standout spots like Teacher’s House, a pharmacy, a taxidermy museum in West Virginia (later demolished), a vintage hair salon, and an abandoned synagogue in Memphis.
