Lisa Cook Gordon and Barbi Bourgeois of the Capac Classmates Promoting Future Adults (CCPFA), a nonprofit group that awards an annual scholarship for Capac students, get interviewed on WPHM-AM (1380) about the rescheduled Weapons of Grass Destruction Charity Golf Outing on Sept. 27 at Belle River Golf Course in Memphis.
This interview aired on Sept, 23 on the WPHM Morning Show with Paul Miller.
During the interview, Lisa and Barbi talk about how the non-profit got started back in 2021, and how any community can start their own “grass roots” efforts to help students in the area. It started with three people, she said, “and today it has grown to 128 golfers and 30 volunteers…anybody can do this.”
