Episode three of the 2040 series is a cracker, as we're joined by the Leader of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, Cllr Stephen Cowan. This was a wide ranging interview that covered all manner of topics, including the council's excellent Upstream London , which outlines a pioneering approach to Industrial Strategy in the borough.
Cllr Cowan has led the borough since 2014, and in a decade he has built a remarkable list of achievements. He has coined the phase 'entrepreneurial municipal government' which is embodied in the White City Innovation District that pulls together the council, business, academia, and the community to support inclusive growth in that part of the world. There is much talk of that in this podcast, which we hope you enjoy.
