The Human Recommendation is a biweekly radio show on FlirtFM 101.3 in Galway city, Ireland which showcases the best of indie & alternative music from Ireland and around the globe. But in this special interview side project, host Damien had to opportunity to speak with an exciting emerging Vancouver based band called Wiles. They are Kate Cunningham, Josh Cunningham, Brian Miller and Shane Monteiro.
Their excellent EP ”If You Can Hear Me Now You're Not Far Enough Away” was recorded at Flash Recording in East Vancouver and released through Good Stones // Calm Water.
We had a fun conversation about the making of their E.P, their lyrical storytelling, playing live, the city of Vancouver and connecting together through their mate Sasha Balazic, (Tractor Beam) who also mixed and recorded their release.
Interview features two tracks, ”Half Blind” and ”Variations on a Theme”.
